Just learned from the official Google Webmaster Blog that Google’s SEO Started Guide, which is targeted at begnners online, who are just starting to create new websites and want to know more about SEO when building out their sites.

The original guide was published over two years ago now and since that date it has actually been translated into lots of foreign languages, so that many budding SEOs and webmasters from all across the world can learn the basics from the horse’s mouth, as it were.

So now the whole of this guide has been update to reflect more recent changes to the SEO algorithm that many experts try to game in one way or another. Perhaps they should read this guide as well, so that they might learn what they should really be doing with their search engine optimisation techniques to keep the Big G happy.

Anyway the strange things is, but then again maybe not considering that this is a Google publication, there is very little mention of link building, which we all know is the basis for success of any website or blog online.

Well at least they are happy to share this new SEO Guide with you so you can learn Goggle’s view on things and the good news is that this new version of the SEO guide has a load more content in it and many more excellent examples than the previous version. Wherever you are in your SEO knowledge you should check it out!

Additions to the new version of Google’s SEO Starter Guide include a glossary of terms to define all of those search engine optimisation terms that are used right throughout the SEO guide. You will also find many example images that will help you better understand the guide content as you work through it.

You now can also learn the best ways to optimise your website or blog for today’s new mobile devices and right throughout the guide there is now much clearer wording to make the text easier to understand for also improvements in overall readability and SEO understanding

And even if you do not remember form the first guide will now to see the Googlebot image right through the guide. His main aim in the SEO Starter Guide is to entertain, I guess, and at the same time provide all readers with many more of those basic SEO tips that we all need to learn.
